Details: Electropulse was contracted to undertake the supply, installation and commissioning of electrical works for construction of the new factory extension at the Don KRC site at Richards Road Castlemaine, Victoria.
This contract included the supply and installation of the complete main’s and sub-main’s cabling system throughout the new building extension and surrounding new buildings, including installation of all switchboards, totaling 4 x 3200A main switchboards, 22 x sub-boards (500A to 1600A) and 39 x distribution panels. The supply and installation of all luminaries and emergency lighting, socket outlets and final sub-circuit wiring, roadway and area lighting and communications cabling and outlets, including a backbone fibre optic cabling network.
The total project was worth $9.5M, and was completed over a period of 9 months with personnel on site reaching over 80 at its peak.
